Description: Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori)is a bacteria found in the blood that when present, may indicate the patient has a peptic ulcer or other gastritic conditions. This test is to aid in the diagnosis of H pylori infection; determine the cause of chronic type B gastritis or ulcers of the stomach or duodenum. Abnormal results may require further evaluation by your physician.
